It’s a fact, musical training is mindfulness training. Christine Lynders knows. It helped her through the worries, stresses and strains the pandemic was putting on her mind, and her body. Until she found herself in ukulele lessons, she had no idea how learning music could give her such peace and joy at the same time. In today’s episode, we discuss the benefits that learning music has on decreasing stress and anxiety during tough times; helping decrease depression and pain, in addition to promoting a healthy brain and preventing cognitive decline as we age.
