The wonders of the Earth-like planets of the TRAPPIST-1 star (Young Talents Making Way)
The seven planets orbiting around the TRAPPIST-1 star further our understanding of planet formation and the development of life on Earth. The seven planets orbiting the star TRAPPIST-1 are remarkable: they are similar in size to Earth and at least three of them could have liquid water on their surfaces. Here, we discuss this extraordinary finding and calculate, as part of a science project, the orbital properties of these seven planets. This research deals with identifying planets that are similar to Earth to better understand how planets form and the development of life on Earth.
