Why Teach American Jurisprudence Globally? The hosts for this episode are Jay Fidell and Russell Leu. The guest for this episode is Paul Anderson.
A nation’s economic growth depends on its students. Students today face a complex global environment especially in areas of global jurisprudence and judicial processes. Global competency on the law’s international context is mandatory. Justice Paul Anderson served as Associate Justice on the Minnesota Supreme Court from 1996 until 2013; following that many prestigious universities and law schools in the U.S. and abroad have invited him to lecture students on American jurisprudence. He shares his experiences on teaching American jurisprudence abroad in the evolving global realities, especially on how to prepare students to make a difference in their home countries and in today’s world where national borders have become ambiguous.
