Expert Opinions: International Travel (The Middle Way)
When we will be back to ‘normal’? The host for this episode is Jay Fidell. The guests for this episode are Chang Wang and Rick King.
Rick King, Chair of Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC), is a visionary board member and retired senior executive with extensive technology and cyber expertise in rapidly changing environments.
Created in 1943 by Minnesota state law, the MAC is a public corporation providing coordinated aviation services throughout the Twin Cities metropolitan area. The MAC operates one of the largest airport systems in the nation, which includes MSP and six general aviation airports. Under the leadership of Rick King, the MAC has been working with airports and airlines to provide the best airport experience to travelers.
In the past 15 months, international travel has been restricted, airports have seen significantly fewer travelers, and international travel has become far less pleasant due to COVID protocols. When will international travel be back to “normal” again? Will the international travel experience be permanently changed? Rick King shares his thoughts and predictions.
