Professor Jonathan Fineberg is the most prominent art historian in the United State, he is the program director of the PhD in Creativity program at University of the Arts in Philadelphia and the author of Art Since 1940: Strategies of Being, the most widely read survey of postwar art, and co-creator of Imagining America: Icons of 20th Century American Art. Professor Jonathan Fineberg has traveled to China multiple times for lectures, art exhibitions and academic conferences. He has been hosting prominent Chinese artists’ visits to the US since 2005. In this episode, Professor Fineberg joins our hosts to reflect on the exchange and collaboration in the art communities in the US and China, teaching art, and teaching creativity.
