Making Military Life Easier – Armed Services YMCA of Honolulu
The Armed Services YMCA (ASYMCA) of Honolulu has been serving Hawaii since 1917 by “making military life easier” through low/no cost programs that focus on young, junior enlisted troops and families. Each year, our innovative and quality social, educational and recreational programs serve over 40,000 U.S. Service members from all five branches of the Armed Forces, as well as their dependents on Oahu. ASYMCA programs are currently held at multiple locations throughout the island, including Aliamanu Military Reservation, Joint Base Pearl Harbor/Hickam, Marine Corps Base Hawaii-Kaneohe, Schofield Barracks Medical Clinic, Tripler Army Medical Center, and Wheeler Army Air Field. Each program is designed to strengthen military families, support healthy lifestyles, reduce isolation and assist service members and their families in connecting to their community.
