Recovery Updates from Maui’s Frontline. The host for this show is Sheryl Matsuoka. The guests are Troy Trimmer and Blanche McMillan.

Since the initial news of the Maui wildfires was reported, the Hawaiʻi Restaurant Association, its members and community have been on the frontlines in Lahaina.

The HRA’s members and partner organizations have been cooking meals, collecting donations, organizing volunteers and setting up distribution centers.

The HRA partnered with various organizations in the community, like The Salvation Army Hawaiʻi and Hui Mahiʻai Āina, to help all who were affected, both onsite and transferring off island. These wildfire relief warriors have been instrumental in providing the Maui residents and visitors with the emergency aid they needed from the beginning of this devastation.

As we move farther into the recovery and rebuild phase of the Maui wildfire devastation, the Hawaiʻi Restaurant Association and its partners continue to organize relief efforts. The HRA is keeping the community updated with ways they can contribute to continue supporting the affected families and businesses.
