Health and Peacebuilding in Colombia (Transitional Justice)
Health as a Bridge for Peace. The host for this show is Jay Fidell. The guest is Alejandro Abisambra-Castillo.
Between 2012-2016 the Colombian government engaged on peace negotiations with the armed group FARC. The early phases of its implementation took place between 2017-2018 and continues to the present day. During the early implementation of the agreements, the Colombian government delivered a series of health services to ex-combatants, members of the international monitoring mission, and local communities, that contributed to the creation of trust between antagonistic actors.
Transitional Justice is coordinated together with Project Expedite Justice.
