United Nations Special Rapporteur on the promotion of truth, justice, reparation and guarantees of non-recurrence conducts visit to Finland and Sweden to focus on human rights of Sami people, the Indigenous Peoples of Scandinavia in the Arctic Circle and beyond. The UN Special Rapporteur suggests specific steps for government to improve its institutions and lives of Indigenous Peoples. The recommendations provide a path forward for reconciliation and realization of human rights.
