Terror, Violence and Impulse to Destroy-Pt 2 (The Matrix of Peace)
Global Peace Through Inner Peace. The host for this show is Phyllis Blees. The guest is Nilima Bhat.
In part 1 we learned that the long term solution to the psychology of violence is to transform our four drives into our four power bases.
In this part 2, we learn how to find peace in the moments we navigate the four drives—eros, thanatos, logos, mythos—by learning from Nilima how to leverage our four power bases of the ‘wise, fool, [of] tough, love.’ We do this by using the polarity thinking work created by Barry Johnson. We also learn how the ‘wise fool of tough love’ steps into the role of the seeds of peace nurtured by the Matrix of Peace Whole Systems Model of Society’s role serving as the soil of peace. We learn specific practices to cultivate presence and gain a basic understanding of the principles of the Matrix of Peace model.
We leave with an understanding of the root causes and solutions to addressing Terror, Violence & the Impulse to Destroy. We foster Global Peace Through Inner Peace.
