Personal Memories of Lahaina, Maui (Journeys of the Mind)
Maui Strong. The host for this show is Carl R. Ackerman. The guest is Judy Cramer.
As we witness the rebuilding of Lahaina, Maui after the devastating fire, it is important to acknowledge the history and memories of a beloved town by those who lived and flourished there. This is a program, Maui Strong, that through interviews of local residents, hopes to restore the living history of a beautiful and sacred space. Beginning with Judy Cramer, who grew up in Lahaina and attended public school in this area, the historical memories of Lahaina will paint the picture of a place loved by all in Hawai’i.
