Mauna Kea Contested Case Hearings
There were 44 days of evidentiary hearings involving 71 witnesses in Hilo regarding whether the state should issue a Conservation District Use Permit to allow construction of the Thirty Meter Telescope on Mauna Kea. Yuklin Aluli was one of the attorneys involved representing KAHEA the Hawaiian – Environmental Alliance.
