Reaching Final Step. The host for this show is Guillermo Sabatier.

The Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Nuclear Energy Microreactor Applications Research Validation and Evaluation (MARVEL) Project has achieved reached 90 percent of its final design, a key step that will allow the project to move forward with fabrication and construction. Given the recent setbacks seen at NuScale and other developers, this sort of taking the lead by the federal government will be a welcomed opportunity. This will be the first new reactor at Idaho National Laboratory (INL) in more than four decades and is expected to be completed in 2025.
