Hydrogen Canadian Style (Stan The Energy Man)
Canada has had a long history of producing hydrogen fuel cells and developing hydrogen technologies and today we’ll get an update from Hydro Quebec to find out what they’re up to lately in northern, North America. This week’s guests will Skype in from the Big Island where they are visiting Blue Planet Research to see what Hawaii is doing to bring about a hydrogen economy, and update us on Canadian and International efforts to advance hydrogen. 2018 looks to be the year that hydrogen will start a dramatic increase in awareness and popularity as cities and nations begin to combat climate change. Our guests will talk about what is going on outside Hawaii from the unique perspective of a nation that has never totally lost it’s push for hydrogen energy solutions (much like California, in the USA), and they are at the front of the charge with several large companies poised to contribute to the advancement of hydrogen in the clean energy drive.
