HEPF 2022 Legislative Day Brief Jan 28th (Hawaii: State Of Clean Energy)
Plugging the Energy Infrastructure Gaps. The host for this show is Mitch Ewan. The guest is Mark Glick.
Hawaii’s energy transition has reached an advanced stage of complexity with higher penetrations of renewable energy resources and energy storage systems (ESS), grid improvements, efficiency measures, and efforts to decarbonize energy in transportation.
The Hawaii Energy Policy Forum (HEPF) plans to coordinate an open and frank dialogue and investigation on the most pressing gaps in Hawaii’s energy transition and what policy interventions are needed to continue to drive and guide change. With the recently passed $1.2 trillion Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (aka, Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill), HEPF’s 2022 Legislative Day Briefing presents an expert view of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill with two sessions addressing the most vulnerable aspects of Hawaii’s energy infrastructure.
