Electrifying Agriculture (Hawaii: State Of Clean Energy)
Electric Tractors Are ‘Electrifying’. The host for this show is Mitch Ewan. The guest is Dave Donald.
Introduction to the use of electric tractors to electrify agriculture in Hawaii. Tractors are essential to the productivity of farming. Starting with horses and then evolving to fossil fueled tractors, electric tractors are going to be the future of farming. Featuring zero diesel spills, no noise, and no harmful exhaust emissions, they are good for ‘Spaceship Earth’ and good for a farmer’s health. And best of all farmers can ‘farm’ the electricity in-house from the sun. And save a lot of money and time. How great is that!! Dave Donald operates the first electric tractor at Blue Hawaii Coffee in Waimea on the Big Island and only the second one in Hawaii. Dave has a lot to show and tell – we call it ‘sharing’ the opportunity.
