Cyber Readiness Begins with You (Military In Hawaii)
Cyber Policies and Incident Response Plan. The host for this show is Jay Fidell. The guests are Jill Tokuda, Michael Cardenas and Amalia Hilliard.
Every year, the month of October is nationally recognized as Cybersecurity Awareness Month. The Cybersecurity Infrastructure and Security Agency together with the National Cybersecurity Alliance lead the effort to raise awareness of what people can do to be safer and more secure online. This year’s theme ‘See Yourself in Cyber’ focused on the role we all have to keep our data and information secure, on the job at home or in school.
The Cyber Ready Hawai‘i program, developed by CyberHawaii and Cyber Readiness Institute, trains cybersecurity professionals to lead small to medium sized businesses through cyber readiness training to develop cybersecurity policies and an incident response plan while focusing on the simple and practical steps employees can do to prevent a cyber incident. As a federal contractor, part of the program leads businesses through an assessment of the FAR 52.204-21, baseline cybersecurity requirements for becoming a federal contractor.
