Biden Walk Tightrope with Israel and Iran (American Issues Take One)
Supporting Israel Means Losing Votes. The hosts for this show are Tim Apicella and Jay Fidell. The guest is Cynthia Lee Sinclair.
President Biden stated at the onset of the Israeli Gaza War that the USA will be a trusted, stable ally. That was prior to a casualty rate count of 34k people in Gaza and Iran’s recent direct drone and missile attack on Israel. President Biden has shifted his words toward safer territory, towards the middle, of the conflict.
He has taken political hits in the form of lower polling in Michigan. During the Democratic primary election, eighteen percent of voters got out of their armchairs to lodge their protest vote as being ‘non-committed’ for Biden. The more the President shifts his position to the middle, the more he loses support from both sides. The panel examines the impact of President Biden’s support for Israel.
