Hawaii State Senator Lorraine R. Inouye (D) is an experienced legislator of 40 years commitment to public service as member of the Hawai’i County Planning Commission, Big Island Mayor, member of the County Council, and State Senator.

Senator Inouye introduced the Senate Bill on Medical aid in Dying at last year’s, 2016 session but it was never heard in the Consumer Protection and Health Committee, chaired by Senator Roz Baker and Judiciary Committee. Senator Lorraine R. Inouye appears on Navigating the Journey to explain the bill’s path in 2017.
