Dr. Leanne Day returns home to Hawaii from her first year in a Post Doctoral program at Brandeis University where she is currently the Florence Kay Fellow in Asian American Pacific Islander Studies and Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies. She has been teaching courses in Asia American Pacific Islander studies and will be returning to Brandeis in the fall. Few universities have Asian American programs.
