A former international diplomat with the U.S. State Department, she is the recently appointed Vice President of Philanthropy for the National Kidney Foundation of Hawaii with a passion to raise critical funds needed to help 1 in 3 people at risk for Chronic Kidney Disease in Hawaii and complete the final stages of a $12 million state-of-the-art facility aimed at tackling the crisis of Hawaii’s kidney failure rate which is 30% higher than the national average.
