Mateo Caballero attended the Harvard Law School. He is a litigator with a background in constitutional, housing, and general litigation. After law school, he practiced in Washington D.C. for five years—interrupted by a year-long clerkship in N.Y. After moving to Hawaii in 2013, he joined the Litigation Committee of ACLU Hawaii, and last year, became the Legal Director of the ACLU of Hawaiʻi.
