Sound Design and Multimedia Management – Jason Taglianetti
Having grown up backstage with both parents involved in theatre, Jason Taglianetti has been listening to performers his entire life. An interest in sound began at the age of 10 and ever since he’s been fascinated with everything to do with sound. Later in life Jason studied audio production at the famed Institute of Seattle in the height of the grunge music period and learned from many of Seattle’s musicians, songwriters, producers, and sound engineers. He has numerous awards for sound design, hosts a radio show called “Applause in a Small room” which features live concerts recorded by Jason. And He is currently the Multimedia Production Manager at Hawaii Public Radio. Donna asks Jason about his life experiences including his most recent work at HPR.
