Questions Surround our Law Enforcement Officials (American Issues Take Two)
In the DOJ and the Secret Service. The hosts for this show are Jay Fidell and Tim Apicella. The guests are Stephanie Dalton and Chuck Crumpton.
In May, Merrick Garland wrote an ‘Election Year Sensitivities’ imemo advising DOJ not to open any investigation against any presidential candidate. He said he was following a policy by William Barr. What does this tell us about Garland, and what does it mean given the likelihood that Trump will run for president. The revelations about the destruction of January 6th text messages and the apparent cover up by the Secret Service and its director James Murray also give us concern about whether the Secret Service was and are more loyal to Trump than the country.
