Works by John Enomoto, Jean Charlot, and Others. Decoration by ceramic tiles was popular for Hawaii buildings in the middle of the 20th century. Ceramic art appeared on many types of structures, from modest apartment buildings to more upscale and expensive settings. The works of two artists in particular who were active in this field will be shown and explained: John Enomoto and Jean Charlot, focusing on three outstanding examples they created.
