Isas Conference and Dr Kathleen Davis
Prof. Kathleen Davis is in Hawaii to attend ISAS Honolulu 2017 the International Society of Anglo-Saxonists biennial conference taking place this week at the University of Hawaii. She is invited as the Jerry H. Bentley Memorial Keynote Speaker and will speak on Archipelagos of Historiography. Prof. Davis is a skilled scholar of Anglo-Saxon and medieval English literature and has been described as a courageously committed dialogist of medieval and postcolonial studies. The conference theme Global Perspectives on Anglo-Saxons and Anglo-Saxonisms aims to explore world comparative views of early medieval insular history, language, literature, art and archaeology.
