Krisna Suryanata and Aya Hirata Kimura are both University of Hawaii Professors, in collaboration with a series of authors, who have recently released the book titled “Food & Power in Hawaii: Visions of Food Democracy” We will be talking with the two authors about the series of essays that discuss land use policies, biotechnology, access to nutrious foods, and economic viability of small local farms.
