ThinkTech Host of the Week

Dave Stevens is a full-time IT Instructor at the University of Hawai’i Kapi’olani Community College, specializing in Cyber Security. Before becoming U.H. faculty, he spent 20 years as an IT consultant / contractor. His IT experience covers embedded development for cryptographic microprocessors, cyber security, cloud infrastructure architecture, project management, programming, database administration, networking, and website development. Recently he served as the University of Hawai’i Community College (UHCC) System Cyber Security Coordinator for a Dept. of Labor grant funding Cyber Security curriculum development, Cyber Workforce development, and Veterans outreach. He is a senior member of the IEEE, and is a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP).
