Calling for Change with Carl Campagna
Married to Sherry Campagna, he and Sherry have 4 kids, 2 adopted.
Carl has over twenty years’ experience as a construction and project manager; owner of his own business, Kamaka Green, providing energy and environmental consulting services; foster parent and founder of a non-profit called Olomea, which helps kids who are aging out of the foster care system.
Carl has served on several legislative working groups, Neighborhood Board and am a member of several community organizations such as Lion Club; Rotary Club, Filipino Chamber of Commerce and Kalihi Business Association. Also served as Region 3 Chair for the Democratic Party of Hawaii on Oahu and Chair of the energy and climate change sub-committee for the Environmental Caucus of DPH.
Carl is currently working on a resolution and a bill calling for the Hawaii Green Fuels Initiative, similar to the Hawaii Clean Energy Initiative. He also ran for State Senate in 2016 with a platform calling for improved education, food and energy security, and prison reform.
