Agritech in Hawaii: The Whitmore Project
Jay Fidell and Duke Oishi highlight the Whitmore Project. Senator Donovan Delacruz summarized the state agricultural facilities that were being developed there, as well as guided a tour of the project. They also talk about agriculture in Hawaii and how the Whitemore Project intends to revitalize the industry. They also heard from Jari Sugano, from CTHAR, highlighted research at
Paomoho Research Station. The tour through the land included many locations throughout the area. The tour ended at Green World Coffee farm, a local farm that has been serving customers in the North Shore. Original Air date January 31, 2016. Episode 262.
