A Paint Brush Beats Covid (Coronavirus and Our Mental Health)
The Joy of Art. The host for this show is Ken Burtness. The guest is Tamara Moan.
For two and a half years, Coronavirus has been the great thief in the night.
Covid stole jobs, decimated social activities, kept people away from family and friends, and disrupted lives. And this thief left people lonely and without things to fill their hours. Many sank into depression or flew into anxiety, and self-image took a beating. But some discovered new interests, while some revisited old interests, and others found joy in unexpected places. People got into music and movies and books and writing, while others took to paint and canvas and discovered the joy in Art. The Art Gallery of the mind opened, and the vibrant wonderful colors of positive emotions brightened the day.
