Edward (Ed) Case won the 2018 August 11 Democratic Party Primary for the House 1st Congressional District seat, and will be listed on the ballot in the November general mid-term election. He was previously elected to the Hawaii State House of Representatives and the U.S. House of Representatives. Born in Hilo, Hawaii Island, he obtained a bachelor’s degree from Williams College and a law degree from University of California Hastings College of Law. Before his first elected State office, he was chair of the Manoa Neighborhood Board. At the Hawaii House of Representatives, he became Majority Leader for the Democratic Party. For the eight-year period preceding his August 11 primary victory, he was in the private sector, with Outrigger Hotels.

Just before the August 11 primary, Ed Case walked the length of Oahu’s CD1 region, and will discuss his insights with district residents, including domestic, national and foreign policy issues. The host for this episode is Ray Tsuchiyama. The guest for this episode is Ed Case.
