Honolulu bar owners currently are required to accommodate only customers who have had a vaccine against COVID-19. But Bill Commerford, president of the Hawaii Bar Owners Association, says some bar owners feel arbitrarily targeted since many other businesses do not have to abide by these same restrictions. Host Joe Kent, filling in for Keli‘i Akina, will talk with Comerford about the new rules and how bars have fared generally throughout the coronavirus lockdowns since they were implemented in March 2020.
