The Identity Ecosystem – Sal D’Agostino
Salvatore (Sal) D’Agostino has over 30 years of experience in design, build, test, integration and operation of identity, credentialing, access control, security, automation, machines learning and technology transfer projects around the world. These projects include the security systems for the US Capitol and Pentagon, a number of electronic toll collection systems including EZ Pass, Fast Trak and Sunpass and international identity programs. In addition to leading IDmachines Sal is currently Chair and President IDESG, Inc., the public private partnership to administer the National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace (NSTIC). Sal is a member of the PSA Security Network Cybersecurity Advisory Committee. Sal is the Chair of the Kantara Initiative Leadership Council, its Identity Relationship Management Working Group and member of the User Managed Access (UMA) Working Group . Sal currently serves as Secretary of the Smart Card Alliance Identity and Access Control Councils, Co-Chair of the Security Industry Association Standards Committee Simple Network Monitoring Protocol (SNMP) subcommittee and member of its Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP) subcommittee, member of the IT and Physical Security Councils of ASIS International and a charter member Society of Manufacturing Engineers’ Machine Vision Association.
