They highlighted the importance of the location of the conference and the people who attended in developing not only the energy future of Kauai, but the global energy future. The conference footage includes words from Mayor Bernard Carvalho, David Bissell, CEO of KIUC, Ben Sullivan the Kauai County Energy Coordinator, Kate Gordon of the Paulson Institute and other participants. The three main points for the conference were Electricity, transportation and low carbon future. After the keynote they spoke to Ben Sullivan, James McCay of Ameresco, Erik Kvam of hawaiienergrylax.com, Leslie Cole Brooks of Distributed Energy Resrouces Council, Jim Kelly of Hawaiian Electric Company, Alden Alayvilla of the Garden Island News, Kate Gordon, Stan Osserman of HCATT, Stewart Burley a former Board Member for the KIUC, Jan Tenbruggencate a KIUC Board Member and other attendees. The weekly Mina, Marco and Me show was also broadcast from the conference, as well as a remote broadcast with Beth Tokioka.
