Join us as we touch on a few things Vivian has created, enjoyed and fostered since she came to Hawaii, including such diverse things as being active in swing dancing, being a teacher of gifted & dyslexic students, starting a school garden at Kahala Elementary, her work forming GIFT, helping start Piko Pals new parent support groups with Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies, her Feldenkrais practice, community builder using Sparked, an interactive game to deepen connection and community, and then launching a WomanSpeak circle to support women to hone their authentic voices in community. Vivian has been recognized by Honolulu Magazine as one of 6 People Making a Difference in Honolulu in November 2013, by Pacific Business News as one of Hawai’i’s 40 Under 40, and the Honolulu Star Advertiser as one of 10 Who Made a Difference in 2010 for her work in the community among other honors.
