Reviewing Mandalay Hawk’s Dilemma (Books! Books! Books!)
The United States of Anthropocen. The host for this show is Elaine Gallant. The guest is Peter Aronson.
We talk with Peter Aronson, an attorney turned author who writes books for kids. Mandalay Hawk’s Dilemma, which deals with kids and climate change, was just published and which is available on Amazon.
Peter tells us why he wrote it and what it was like to write it. Kirkus Reviews gave it a starred review and called it “A scathing work and an essential blueprint for youth battling climate change.”
Peter also reads a paragraph for us so we can get to know how he writes, and how he writes for kids. We also discuss the trajectory of the books he has written and what he expects to write next.
