Remembering 9/11 (America Finding its Way)
Where Were You and How Did it Affect You. The host for this show is Jay Fidell. The guest is Tim Apicella.
9/11 was the darkest day in American history, a brutal terrorist attack that killed thousands of people in New York, Washington and Pennsylvania. It somehow affected and connected everyone in the country, and the world. How did you find out what was happening. How did you react. How did it affect you emotionally. Did you know anyone who died that day. There have been many shows and articles about what happened. How have you reacted to them.
What are your recollections that day, and how does it affect you now. How has it changed your life and view of the world since then, the lives of the people around you and your community and our country. Could this happen again. How concerned are you that terrorists could attack our country again, and people you know now, 20 years later, in New York, Washington and/or elsewhere, by hijacked aircraft or otherwise.
We have many threats to deal with these days, in public health and in the health of our democracy. Do you feel there is a connection between our current problems and the impact of what happened on 9/11.
