Political Turmoil, the Bundy Verdict and the Patriot Movement
Myles Breiner is one of Hawaii’s most noted criminal and constitutional lawyers. Breiner joins Maryann Sasaki to discuss the outcome of the Bundy case and the Patriot Movement, a loosely-connected network of organizations that are united in the belief the federal government has overstepped its authority.
Breiner received his undergraduate and graduate education at the University of Michigan, did post-graduate research at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Taiwan National University, and attended law school at the University of San Francisco. While attending law school in San Francisco, Breiner clerked for the San Francisco City Attorney, Office of the Public Defender, Alameda County District Attorney, California Attorney General, and the Marin County Superior Court. Breiner also served as Honolulu Deputy Prosecutor under Charles Marsland.
