Martin A Lee, The Co Founder and Director of Project CBD
Lee was named by High Times as one of the 100 most influential people in cannabis. Lee is also co-founder of the media research group FAIR (Fairness & Accuracy In Reporting) and the author of Acid Dreams: A Social History of LSD — the CIA, the Sixties and Beyond.
He also wrote The Beast Reawakens, a book on resurgent racism and neofascism. Lee’s articles have appeared in Rolling Stone, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, The Nation, Harper’s, Le Monde Diplomatique, Daily Beast, Huffington Post, Mother Jones, and many other publications. He has been a guest on numerous TV and radio talk shows and his work has been featured in several documentary films. Lee has lectured at dozens of universities and colleges,including Harvard, Dartmouth, Columbia, Johns Hopkins, and the American University in Paris. In 1975, Lee graduated with a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Michigan, where he won four Hopwood awards for creative writing.
