Kids Afraid to be Creative ..or Unwilling (The Creative Life)
Where Have we Gone Wrong. The host for this show is Phyllis Blees. The guests are Peter Gamwell, Bethany Schwan, Michael Wilson, George Tzougros and Susan McCalmont.
We hear from creativity leaders and teachers about the widescale apathy or worse—fear—of students in taking creative risks. These guests show us ways to stop the brain drain and jumpstart creativity in the lives of the young and old.
Bethany Schwan introduces us to the annual World Creativity and Innovation Week (WCI) platform and activities. Dr. Peter Gamwell and Michael Wilson open up and invite us into the Canadian Network for Imagination and Creativity (CNIC). George Tzougros and Susan McCalmont are connectors, connecting us to the National Creativity Network. Phyllis Blees introduces us to the American Creativity Association, which has a 4-decade mission for promoting a More Creative Society through learning and applying creativity, innovation, and problem-solving tools and techniques.
