Paul Achitoff graduated from Harvard College and Columbia Law School, and for the past 22 years has been the managing attorney for the Hawaiʻi office of Earthjustice, a national, nonprofit, public interest environmental law firm. Paul practiced business and environmental litigation in private practice in Los Angeles and Honolulu for 11 years before joining Earthjustice in 1994. Paul has handled a wide variety of public interest environmental matters, such as endangered species, commercial fisheries, water pollution, and stream restoration cases. For the past decade Paul has focused on addressing problems caused by genetically modified organisms and pesticides.
