The challenge of designing implants for children. Katharine Nohr talks with Dr. Kent Reinker, currently a clinical professor for University of Texas Health Sciences Center. He was the chief surgeon and chief of medical staff at Shriners Hospitals for Children in Honolulu from 1989 to 2001. Before that, Dr. Reinker was the Chief of Orthopedic Surgery and Director of Orthopedic Residency at Tripler Army Medical Center.
