Coronavirus Differences Hawaii and Mainland (Coronavirus and Our Mental Health)
Helping People with Unique Covid Problems. The host for this show is Ken Burtness. The guest is Melinda Timmons.
Coronavirus is a traveling storm, seeping across the U.S., across the world. Traveling from east to west, positives/hospitalizations/deaths surge on the east coast, then the west coast, then Hawaii, then Asia on its around-the-world path. A sigh of relief as it passes, but before recovery is complete, a Delta storm is coming, then an Omicron storm. People are exhausted, defenses are down. Now there is a hint of an Omicron variant storm resulting in PTSD (“Present” Traumatic Stress Disorder). What might be learned from a storm on the east coast to help prepare people in Hawaii?
