Are Gasoline Taxes the Way
Jay Fidell is joined by Jeff Kissel of the Washington D.C. based Energy Policy Research Foundation, Inc. (EPRINC). Jeff and Jay discuss gasoline taxes as a method to properly reform the U.S. Tax system.
Are gasoline taxes the way to save Tax Reform?
Most of the revenue initiatives to save tax reform are not making it, such as the border adjustment tax, and the carbon tax. So were are left with an old standby, gasoline taxes.
However, the states already have been busy raising taxes and this initiative will be especially painful for the Hawaiians. USG, however, has not raised the federal excise tax since 1993.
