Aging Along Agility of Queen Emma Gardens (Humane Architecture)
Let’s Go Mr. Lowe and Co. The host for this show is Martin Despang. The guests are Richard Lowe and Bundit Kanisthakhon.
Richard Lowe known from previous human[e] architecture shows–‘Future Thoughts on Planning, from Aloha Tower to Waikiki’, ‘Ward Wonder World’, ‘Repurposing Praying into Replenishing Places’–and his friend Bundit Kanisthakhon (according to Timoth Schuler’s Flux Magazine’s ‘The Odd Couple’ article) take us along their most recent experiences in Rich’s golden age phase of being 95 years young with cross references of cosmopolitan comrades. Resulting reflections are shared about how to continue to celebrate life at its best vs preparing for death. This episode is about picking up from the recent week’s concluding on Minoru Yamasaki and Alfred Yee’s 1964 Queen Emma Gardens’s ‘aging along agility’.
