Across the Waters to the Western Pacific Islands – Gregg Nakano and Charles Devaney
Frequent-flyer Chuck Devaney of UAS Acadamy in Virginia and Gregg Nakano, man of many visions here in Hawaii, discuss a very important and timely program dealing with Majuro and sea level rise in the Pacific Islands. Drones or Unmanned Air Systems can play a critical role in capturing the current status of the land as a base for looking at the emerging threat and deciding actions. On a later episode we’ll pick up Ethan Allen and Brendan Brennan to tie this initiative in with the larger Pac Rim resilience efforts and the K-12 educational framework that will mainstream this kind of thinking.
