What’s Playing on Spectrum OC16?

Number 2: From the series “Sister Power” on 3/7/2019 hosted by Sharon Yarbrough, it’s called “Tao Calligraphy; Art Beyond Art” with guests Orlena Wong and Diane Fujio.

Orlena Wong is a Certified Master Teacher of Tao Academy trained by world renowned transformational leader and Tao Grandmaster, Dr. and Master Zhi Gang Sha. She is a Certified Direct Soul Communicator, a Certified Tao Hands Practitioner, a Certified Tao Calligraphy Master Practitioner and Teacher, and one of the leading teachers in Hawaii for the Tao Academy. Diane Fujio’s greatest joy comes from serving. The idea of public service was foremost in her decision to acquire a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and to pursue a subsequent career in state government for almost 30 years. She was honored to be one of the founding members of Master Sha’s first center in Honolulu, Hawaii, and continues to support its growth and expansion. The host for this episode is Sharon Yarbrough. The guests for this episode are Orlena Wong and Diane Fujio. Art is a tool to communicate feeling and energy between the artist and the viewer. Positive messages in the art can have tremendous transformational effects on viewers of the art.

Number 3: From the series “Finding Respect In The Chaos” on 3/8/2019 hosted by Cynthia Lee Sinclair, it’s called “Me Too Monologues; HPU student creates important performance where survivors of abuse share their stories of pain and silence” with guest Maisa Thayer.

We will talk about her experience of abuse at the hands of her superiors while at sea. We will talk about her calling to help other survivors and her quest to help as many as possible. During the first half we will talk about her history and in the second half we will talk about where she wants to go from here. The host for this episode is Cynthia Lee Sinclair. The guest for this episode is Maisa Thayer. Despite abuse while in the Merchant Marines, despite the PTSD that ensued from the abuse, Maisa Thayer is an example of strength and courage as she speaks to the lasting issues that can follow survivors of abuse
