Japan’s Future: “Mojo” or “Mujo”
Mojo vs. Mujo

It is said that the Fukushima disaster exposed and widened the cracks in the foundation of the Japanese society. In the wake of that disaster, the Japanese began a process of self-examination .As the rebuilding process got underway, the vision for the country’s future was re-examined. This program is about the shifts in attitudes, thinking, and, in some cases, conflicts among Japanese as to the future direction of the country that are emerging in the wake of that disaster. Where are they really headed and do the younger Japanese see the future of the country differently than their parents? There is now a tension between what the people want and where the leadership and government are headed.
