ThinkTech Hawaii, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) Hawaii nonprofit corporation founded in 2001 and dedicated to raising public awareness through civic engagement by citizen journalist hosts on digital media platforms. ThinkTech has produced over 12,000 talk shows and short movies, and streams 30 new live talk shows every week covering a variety of subjects of interest to the Hawaii community. Talk Shows
ThinkTech produces some 50 talk shows moderated by volunteer citizen journalist hosts. ThinkTech has a high-tech downtown video studio. These days all the hosts and guests on those shows appear by Zoom from locations in Hawaii, the mainland, and around the world.
Platforms
ThinkTech streams on thinktechhawaii.com, and YouTube.com/thinktechhawaii, it uploads and posts to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Spotify and Apple Podcasts, and it broadcasts several series on Olelo 54 Community Media. It also publishes a daily newsletter to its 8,000 subscribers, a Weekly Bulletin to its talk show hosts, and Flash and Special Messages announcing notable shows, news and calendar events. Funding
ThinkTech is supported by contributions from its various underwriters and grantors (for both special projects and general funding), who are listed on thinktechhawaii.com. It is also supported by donations from its directors, hosts, guests, subscribers and viewers through Fund Drives in the Spring and Fall. Donations can always be made through thinktechhawaii.com and our daily newsletter. ThinkTech’s hosts, guests, senior management and board of directors are all volunteers.
